Hamilton has been hammered with cold weather warnings since the end of last month. With 25 miles per hour winds and 36 miles per hour gusts, it still felt like 3 degrees below zero.

Although warmer days are soon headed for the mid-Hudson Valley, residents will first have to endure a frigid Saturday with possible wind chill values of up to 35 below zero, according to meteorologist John Quinlan of the National Weather Service in Albany. The record low of -1 for Sunday should be shattered in Springfield. Heading into the afternoon, wintry mix chances move in as highs hover around the freezing mark. A cold front will bring light snow showers by Monday evening through Tuesday morning, with not much accumulation expected for now. High pressure will give us another mostly sunny day Sunday with highs back to the teens.
