Vogue, GQ, Vanity Fair drop photographer Terry Richardson after misconduct claims

"When I said I didn't like it and I found it troubling there was a sense you might be part of a witch hunt". "He is an artist who has been known for his sexually explicit work so many of his professional interactions with subjects were sexual and explicit in nature", the statement read, "but all of the subjects of his work participated consensually".

News that the fashion houses Valentino and Bulgari would stop commissioning Mr Richardson, known for his often explicit material, came shortly after a decision to drop him by Condé Nast, the publisher of the glossy magazines Vogue, Vanity Fair and GQ.

Conde Nast International has announced it is severing ties with Terry Richardson, the United States fashion photographer who is facing allegations of sexual misconduct.

A leaked email from Condé Nast International reveals that the company will no longer feature material from the controversial photographer. He denied the allegations and described himself as "considerate and respectful" of his photographic subjects.

Investors are also awaiting the Fed's issue of the Beige Book, a periodic snapshot on the health of the US economy. That compares with the 5.9 billion daily average for the past 20 trading days, according to Thomson Reuters data.

"Thank you for your support in this matter".

Richardson issued a statement to the Huffington Post on Friday in response to allegations of sexual misconduct. However, the photographer has been accused of inappropriate behavior on set by models in the past. In 2014, model Emma Appleton confirmed to BuzzFeed News that tweets she had sent alleging that Richardson asked for sex in exchange for work were genuine. (Vogue, at the time, said they had "no plans"). Conde Nast International did not immediately return request for comment.

Richardson has photographed countless celebrities, including former President Barack Obama, Lena Dunham , Steve-0 and Lady Gaga, among others - while weathering a number of sexual harassment allegations. "I have never used an offer of work or a threat of rebuke to coerce someone into something that they did not want to do".
