Megyn Kelly's NBC morning debut delivers mixed ratings results

Megyn Kelly kicked off phase two of her post-Fox News rebrand on Monday morning, and her new NBC hour made a pretty solid entry into the crowded daytime landscape.

In addition, other critics thought that it seemed like Kelly had lost her intelligent persistence and integrity that made her so well known and respected initially.

"I am a lover of the First Amendment", Kelly said.

- Elyssa (@ElyssaK) September 25, 2017 "Megyn Kelly Today" so far feels like this silent scream of smiling at fellow guests while wanting to leave a awful dinner party.

Kelly did put up better numbers than the program that was shown in the 9:00 a.m. timeslot last Monday, with Kelly finishing up 12 percent in total viewers and 8 percent in the demographic. "And it's gotten so dark, and I'm just, like, over".

"Is it true that you became a lawyer-and you became gay-because of Will?" she said.

Senate and governor tops the November 2018 ballot in Wisconsin, but there are dozens of other local races to be decided. Haas said the commission is seeking more specific information, including when the scanning activity occurred in 2016.

Just a day after saying she was "done with politics for now", newly-minted NBC morning-show host Megyn Kelly lived up to her promise by dodging a question about whether she supports NFL players protesting racial inequality and police brutality by kneeling during the national anthem at games. If you were dying to see Kelly flip the contents of a frying pan with Matt Lauer, this frenetic show had you covered.

She talked vaguely about her incredible journey from one network (which she assiduously avoided naming) to NBC and how the spirit of her father, who died when she was a teenager, was somehow involved in this miraculous intervention of contracts. Kelly's challenge will be to maintain as much of her sampling as ideally bring in new viewers over the coming weeks and months. They only liked her when she was at Fox and bashing Trump.

In a later segment on a nun who works with young people and bereaved mothers in a low-income neighborhood in Chicago, Kelly again never quite connected with her subjects.

Then everyone came to Kelly's stage to drink mimosas and bask in the NBC-ness of it all.

"De-escalating (a situation with) someone who is 6 foot 7, that is already drunk, and you think I am getting ready to break my nails fighting him?" she said.

Another added: "Megyn Kelly is every mom trying waaaaay to hard to "relate" to her gay son but instead just makes it waaaaay worse".
