Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 has officially entered mass production

With the recent news arrived via Weibo, Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 has been teased with a full-screen display of 2.0. The resolution of the display will be 2960 x 1440 pixels, in line with other flagship phones out there with the edge-to-edge display. Shortly thereafter, leaked renders and a live image of the bezel-less smartphone surfaced online. Hence, Xiaomi fans feel that the next-generation Mi series may not feature a huge display of 6 inches. And once again, the tech world will be taken aback with a similar amount of ecstasy with the arrival of the upcoming concept-phone, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2.

But what can we expect in the successor to the Xiaomi Mi Mix? While there has not been any official word from Qualcomm regarding the launch of the processor, the 836 is expected to be a slightly more powerful version of the 835.

It remains to be seen if the details provided in the purported Mi MIX 2 screenshot obtained by the website turns out true as Qualcomm is yet to announce Snapdragon 836 chipset. The smartphone will be powered by a 4,400mAh battery and will boast 256GB of storage. According to the leaked image, it can be speculated that Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 will sport a big screen. The display stretches from edge-to-edge with just a strip of bezel at the bottom.

The Chinese technology giant is expected to unveil the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 on September 11. Notably, the smartphones have already entered into the mass production stage, and both these pictures are showcased by the company's CEO Lei Jun. Some rumors also suggest that the smartphone will sport a dual-camera setup. There is only one week to wait until we find out everything there is to know about one of the most impressive- looking handsets of this year.

The leaked specifications further reveal that Xiaomi Mi 7 will come in two variants - 6GB RAM and 8GB RAM.
