Texas Dog Preparing for Hurricane Harvey Becomes Local Hero

Tiele Dockens posted the photo Saturday morning in Sinton, which is about 30 minutes from Corpus Christi.

"I kept yelling his name and yelling his name and he wouldn't come", Segovia told the Chronicle. "LOL * a data-ft="{"tn":"*N","type":104}" href="https://www.facebook.com/hashtag/refugee?source=feed_text&story_id=10155437802541839" *#refugee" has been shared over 10,000 times on Facebook, providing many locals levity as they continue to assess the damage from the major storm.

According to the Houston Chronicle the dog, photographed walking down a Sinton, Texas, street carrying a bag of food, got loose Friday night after the storm passed through his small town.

This fantastic doggo definitely has his priorities right as he carries a bag full of dog food to safety.

Otis's owner goes on to say that the fearless dog will get a hamburger at Dairy Queen for dessert. He is not a stray he just got out on his street.

They said it was "manifestly arbitrary" to allow a man to "break down (a) marriage whimsically and capriciously". The five judges were from India's major faiths - Hinduism, Islam, Christianity, Sikhism and Zoroastrianism.

Tiele Dockens took a picture of Otis and put it on Facebook.

According to Segovia, Otis was a hometown hero long before he wandered into Internet fame.

It's not clear where he found the food, but the good news is Otis made his way back home... and is now prepared to weather the storm's aftermath.

Salvador Segovia, 65, was watching Otis, his five-year-old grandson Carter's dog.
