He also strongly refuted the allegation of former White House official Sebastian Gorka on the absence of word "radical Islamic terrorism" in Trump's Afghan policy speech.

Sebastian Gorka has left his position as counterterrorism advisor to President Donald Trump, according to a White House statement Friday night.

Gorka's departure comes a week after Bannon left the White House to return to the helm of Breitbart News, where Gorka once worked as editor. In fact, two House Democrats recently unveiled legislation seeking to bar Gorka and Miller from collecting White House salaries, reports the Hill.

Gorka, who frequently appeared on TV to defend the policies and statements of President Trump, was known for his outspoken, combative style and hard-line views on fights against terror. His resignation adds to a long list of high-profile departures from the White House, including chief strategist Steve Bannon, chief of staff Reince Priebus and press secretary Sean Spicer. Like Bannon, Gorka opposes sending new troops.

Gorka apparently later told a reporter it was "disappointing" that the White House was reporting he was sacked.

"Regrettably, outside of yourself, the individuals who most embodied and represented the policies that will 'Make America Great Again, ' have been internally countered, systematically removed, or undermined in recent months", Gorka wrote in the letter.

Rocket League for Nintendo Switch will Include Samus Aran and Mario Cars
The news gets even better, all three cars will be free when the game launches on the Switch this holiday season. The upcoming Nintendo Switch version of Rocket League's Nintendo-themed exclusive cars have been revealed.

Trump ally Roger Stone echoed Gorka's assessment to Politico, saying "the seven-day-in-May crowd is making steady progress and trying to convert the Trump administration to George Soros-style globalism" and, in an apparent threat to the man he helped elect, that "I can find another candidate for 2020 who can win the primary, believe me".

Others say Gorka did resign but only after he was told Kelly had revoked his security clearance, which would have made it impossible for him to continue his job at the White House.

Bannon was removed from his permanent seat on the council in April, and several officials who came to the council under fired national security adviser Michael Flynn were also dismissed in recent weeks, including retired Col. Derek Harvey and the council's senior director of intelligence, Ezra Cohen-Watnick.

But a separate White House official disputed that he resigned. "One to go. We can do this".

"Breaking the back of the fake conservatives and destroying the left-wing's attempted monopoly of what it means to be America today - that's what I'll be working on with you, Matt, and with that great team at Breitbart", he said.
