The message comes hours after President Donald Trump warns Pyongyang that it will be "met with fire and fury" if North Korea does not stop threatening the United States.

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, has ordered an expansion of the regime's rocket development, despite increasing worldwide pressure to put a hold on its weapons programmes. "Should Not Misjudge Retaliatory Will of DPRK", writers for the regime publication argue that Trump "has not yet come to his senses" and agreed to allow North Korea to develop nuclear weapons, despite the near constant threats of unleashing these weapons on the US mainland.

During last year's drills, the North successfully test-fired for the first time a submarine-launched ballistic missile ruler Kim Jong Un then praised as the "success of all successes".

A series of threats followed from both sides, and while the rhetoric has since eased, the US and South Korea this week kicked off their annual Ulchi Freedom Guardian military drills, which the North always condemns as dress rehearsals for invasion.

Kim visited the North Korean Chemical Material Institute of the Academy of Defence Science recently, according to a statement from the government-run Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).

"Some people said it was too strong".

"And maybe - probably not, but maybe - something positive can come about", he added, while addressing a campaign rally in Phoenix, Arizona. "I respect that fact very much", he said.

Earlier Tillerson acknowledged Pyongyang's recent "restraint" in not carrying out fresh nuclear or missile tests in response to tough new United Nations sanctions, the seventh set imposed on it.

"I'm pleased to see that the regime in Pyongyang has certainly demonstrated some level of restraint", Tillerson told reporters on Tuesday.

The North says it needs nuclear weapons to protect itself against the US.

Both experts said the wound-filament casing seen in one photo would be lighter than previous metal versions, allowing North Korea's missiles to fly further.

"Our father was in the arms of the republic and received the love and care of the party until his passing at age 74", said Mr Ted Dresnok, the older of the two.

"If I understand North Korean propaganda, this is their way of telling us what we'll see in the air in the coming year".

-South Korea military drills, calling them an invasion rehearsal.

Pining hope on that mad guy, Song is urging the soldiers of the puppet army to "fight with confidence without any concern as the overwhelming south Korea-U.S. allied forces are fully ready for action".

Kim's regime later postponed a threat to fire missiles towards the US Pacific island territory of Guam, and Washington said it would be open to dialogue if Pyongyang were to take steps to calm tensions.
