Spotted: Malia Obama moving in to Harvard

Some very high-profile parents are experiencing a huge milestone this week: sending their firstborn off to college, likely supplied with extra-large twin sheets and plastic crates full of shoes, tangled computer cords and three months' worth of body wash.

We know Malia would make an awesome student.

The former First Family was at the MA campus on Monday to help their oldest daughter move in to college and to mark the momentous occasion in her life. Barack and Michelle were seen leaving the freshman dorm with their eyes covered in sunglasses after helping her move in, reportedly shedding tears after dropping their eldest daughter off to begin a new chapter in her life.

Boston ready for 'free speech' rally but 'we don't want hate groups'
Walsh made the comments Friday as he discussed security for the event alongside Boston Police Commissioner William Evans and Gov. Organizers of the Boston free speech rally , mostly young white men, insist their event is all about the freedom of expression.

Malia is continuing the tradition of Obamas attending Harvard - as both Barack and Michelle are graduates of Harvard Law School. After getting settled, the teen was seen chatting with some new friends while casually dressed in a babydoll dress, Alexander Wang graphic tee, gray socks and white sneakers.

Although Tuesday was move-in day for the Class of 2021, the Obamas strategically arranged to drop off Malia the day before, when the rest of the world was preoccupied with the solar eclipse. Speaking of the latter, Malia is expected to study filmmaking at Harvard. She also worked as a production assistant on Halle Berry's short-lived TV show Extant in Los Angeles, with the actress recently admitting that while Malia worked hard, the cast and crew could never really accept her as their PA. Obviously, we weren't making her go get our coffee. "But she wanted to do all the jobs - that was the cool thing".

Malia Obama, the former first daughter of the United States, is officially Harvard enrolled!
