Dwyane Wade to Cavaliers after Bulls buyout?

Earlier this month, it was reported that the Chicago Bulls and Dwyane Wade will soon reach a buyout that could place Mr. Wade in position to be a free-agent.

Last season in Chicago, Wade averaged 18.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.4 steals per game in 60 regular season contests.

According to Miami sports radio host Andy Slater, Wade has moved his kids from Chicago and enrolled them in school in South Florida.

Even though Wade was the second-leading scorer for the Bulls last season, the team is undergoing a youth movement and Chicago's roster is deep with shooting guard talent. A buyout seems a matter of when, and Miami or Cleveland appear the most likely of landing spots.

And so the speculation of Wade returning to Miami-where he spent the first 13 seasons of his career and won three National Basketball Association titles-grows.

ESPN's Nick Friedell reported Tuesday that Chicago Bulls guard Dwyane Wade isn't well regarded by some of his younger teammates. At least, that's what LeBron James thinks.

Wade, 35, averaged 18.3 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.8 assists in 60 games previous year for a Bulls team that made the postseason.

"Obviously this is something that D-Wade helped build", Whiteside added, "so obviously this city and us as a team being able to have somebody like that on our team would be incredible".

Cowley also noted that in a text from Bulls general manager Gar Forman, the Bulls expect to have Wade back this season.

Wherever he lands, it will mark the end of a homecoming that neither Wade nor the Bulls expected to end this way. The Cavaliers still need more ball handling since LeBron not-so-politely asked for it, and Wade fits the bill. In late April, Wade said he'd keep an open mind about coming off the bench.

After spending the first 13 years of his career with the Miami Heat, Wade signed with his hometown Bulls last offseason.
