Frank Lampard reacts to Victor Moses' display in Chelsea v Arsenal

After the Premier League and FA Cup winners were locked at 1-1 following an evenly contested 90 minutes, the Frenchman stroked home after Alvaro Morata and Thibaut Courtois missed for Chelsea.

Immediately after the break, the Gunners were punished for failing to deal with a corner which Victor Moses reacted quickest to by smashing the ball past Petr Cech to put Chelsea ahead.

Arsenal's win against Chelsea capped what has been a promising pre-season for the club as they beat Bayern Munich, also on penalties, as well as lifting the Emirates Cup.

Theo Walcott, Nacho Monreal, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Olivier Giroud converted their spot kicks to hand Arsenal their first trophy of the season.

With 80 minutes played, Pedro was shown a straight red card after a unsafe tackle on Mohamed Elneny.

Striker Lacazette was the only new signing in the starting line-ups, with focus on those absent as much as those playing.

Koscielny was sent off in the final Premier League match of last season, and with his suspension for the first three league games, Wenger wishes to sort out his defense now available to him.

Arsene Wenger, meanwhile, handed a start to £52 million man Alexandre Lacazette, with both Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil missing for the Gunners.

Elneny fired over soon afterwards as Cahill only half-cleared a Bellerin cross.

Moses gave Chelsea the lead a minute after the restart from close range, before Pedro was sent off and Sead Kolasinac headed in the equaliser from the resultant free kick with nine minutes to go.

Morata wasted a late chance to win it before the match went to penalties and Arsenal extended their winning record at Wembley.
