Marvelous Monday ahead, rain takes awhile to return

A warming trend continues through mid week with temperatures back into the mid 80s.

Tuesday features similar weather to today with mostly sunny skies and warm temperatures in the 80s.

The humidity will increase at the same time high temperatures get back to around 90°. Humidity remains fairly low, so heat index values shouldn't be too much of an issue. Morning lows drop to the upper 50s and lower 60s under clear skies. Highs in the mid 80s. Sea breezes again develop at the coast. While we can not rule out a shower or two tomorrow afternoon thanks to a small disturbance passing to our north, the vast majority of CT will remain dry. At this point, the day looks dry with only a slight chance of a shower brushing by the Poconos.

Iran Conducts Rocket Space Launch
Iran said it successfully launched another rocket Thursday capable of carrying satellites into space. The country also planned to send humans into orbit, yet it was abandoned due to high costs.

Then the rain chance will return Friday through Sunday as another cold front approaches the area.

Thursday|Scattered thunderstorms possible. Highs in the low 80s and lows in the low 60s. Some clouds will be in the area, but most will be seeing sun.

Sunday morning started with the coolest temperatures and lowest humidity levels since the end of June. The cool air will lag behind the front, though, and thus we are still expecting highs in the middle 80s.
