LaVar Ball On Lonzo's Losing Lakers Debut: 'His Worst Game Ever'

In the lead up to the NBA Draft in June, there was some increasing intrigue over whether the Los Angeles Lakers would take a player other than Lonzo Ball with the second pick.

Jaron Johnson #28 of the Los Angeles Clippers guards Brandon Ingram #14 of the Los Angeles Lakers during the 2017 Summer League at the Thomas & Mack Center on July 7, 2017 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

"They lost by three playing his worst game ever, so if he just [is] right, they win", LaVar later added after the game. Can't go [anywhere] but up and you still keep your team in the game playing the worst game ever.

While LaVar was his typical unbeat self despite the loss, Lonzo certainly came off as disappointed, giving reporters short answers to questions about his performance.

Ball didn't just miss, he missed badly and at inopportune moments, rushing some of his attempts and throwing up multiple airballs. "Can't do nothing about it now".

Iran to sign landmark gas deal with French, Chinese companies
The signing of the final document was postponed to allow for inspections to ensure compliance with USA sanctions against Iran. The French company will serve as the operator of South Pars Phase 11 with its 50.1 percent stake in the project.

It took Lonzo Ball 20 seconds to get a near-capacity crowd off its feet in his first summer league game. "I think what's really important, is that now free agents will say, 'They got enough firepower now.' I think that's the key. I will be much better (Saturday) night".

In the overtime session, Ball missed shots, and the Clippers got a ideal two minutes from Sindarius Thornwell.

The speedy Fox, the No. 5 pick from Kentucky, had 18 points, five steals and four assists.

Lonzo Ball was 1 for 11 from 3-point range, including a bad miss from well beyond the line - the kind of daring pull-up the Ball family is known for - with 1:16 to play in regulation. "Look how many Laker fans are out here".

The veteran guard is said to be seeking a contract buyout, and hoping the Lakers nab him. It's better for him to start at the bottom than all the success. I don't think he growing no more. Additionally, LaVar has wanted Lonzo to play with the Lakers all along. The rest of the games he plays this month won't alone determine his destiny either.Summer league is a learning experience, and he isn't doomed for a bad opening night. Instead of going to the movies, everyone's coming to watch the Lakers and the Big Baller Brand. "I'm not insane. I know it's going to take time to build and we're building, but when we get the right people in here, we're going to win".
