Wanted Man, Bounty Hunters Killed In Shootout At Dealership In Greenville

The bounty hunters confronted Hutchison inside the showroom of the Nissan of Greenville dealership just after 7 p.m.

DALLAS — Authorities said Wednesday two bounty hunters and the fugitive from Minnesota they were tracking were shot dead in a hail of bullets that sent customers and employees fleeing for cover at a Texas vehicle dealership.

According to Stew Peters, a bail investigator with the private Minnesota-based company U.S. Fugitive Recovery and Extradition, Bernal and Garcia were after 49-year-old Ramon Michael Hutchinson.

The owner of the vehicle dealership says two of the men initially represented themselves as federal agents but may have been bounty hunters.

Hutchinson, also known as Raymond Hutchinson, had an outstanding warrant for failure to appear on a first degree drug charge in Minneapolis. The men fought as Hutchinson retrieved his weapon and began firing.

Approximately 20 shots were fired in a time span of about six seconds.

They got a big scare in late February when Durant had a left knee injury, but he's back and the Warriors have rolled since. The Cleveland Cavaliers look to set the tone of this series early by stealing game one and home court advantage.

All three suffered multiple gunshot wounds and died at the scene.

The dealership owner, Rick Ford, said two of the men waited several hours for the third man to arrive.

No one else was wounded in the shooting, authorities say.

While no names of the deceased have been confirmed, the Texas Association of Licensed Investigators (TALI) named one of the men as Fidel Garcia, Jr.

Family members of Bernal say he worked for Garcia who was the owner of F.N.G. She didn't see the men who were shooting, Cano said.
